In 1963 we were awarded our Royal Charter. This means that we are the only organisation in the world able to award Chartered Colourist (CCol) status – the pinnacle of achievement for coloration professionals.
We have a set of internationally recognised professional coloration qualifications that extend to honours degree level. In addition, we offer a range of practical, industry-proven training courses. These training courses are taught by experts, and driven by what’s happening in industry. Each year we help thousands of people at every stage of learning and career development, with training, qualifications and our extensive resources.
An important part of the Society’s commitment to maintaining the professionalism of its members is its scheme for continuing professional development. Details of the scheme can be found on the link to CPD on the left.
Central to our status as an educational charity is the Colour Experience – workshops and activities for children, young people and students.
