SDC Training Courses
Certificate of Competence courses
The Society has developed a series of practical 'hands on' courses aimed chiefly at people working in coloration and testing laboratories. Attendees who attain an appropriate level of expertise will qualify for the Society's Certificate of Competence (which is valid for a set period). These courses are offered at various centres around the world.
These courses include the following:
- Competence in Colour Fastness Testing of Textiles
- Competence in Coloration and Shade Matching (Wool)
- Competence in Coloration and Shade Matching (Cotton)
- Competence in Coloration and Shade Matching (Polyester)
- Principles of Colour Measurement for Quality Control
- Principles of Colour Measurement for Colour Matching
