Competition Overview

Design a trend card for Spring/Summer 2013 using CSI Color Search

The global winner will receive a cheque for £500 and the prestigious CSI Colour Award 2012. The winner will be presented with their prize in Autumn 2012 at a high profile SDC event which will shortly be announced.

Who Can Apply?

The competition is open to undergraduate fashion and textile design students globally.  Students must be aged not less than 18 years on 1 April 2012. 

How to Apply 

1. Register an interest 

2. Go to www.csicolorsearch.com to register as a guest and activate your free account in minutes.

3. Design a trend card for Spring/Summer 2013 using CSI Color Search software along with a typed statement (of up to 500 words) describing your inspiration and colour themes.

4. Submit your entry:

Guidelines

• A trend card for Spring/Summer 2013 using CSI Color Search
• You can submit up to two sides of A3 One board must include your colour theme with the CSI Colour palette clearly shown
• Resolution to be no less than 150dpi nor in excess of 15mb
• A typewritten statement of up to 500 words in English describing your inspiration and colour themes

Judging Criteria

The judges will be looking specifically for:

• Great use of colour using only CSI Color Search
• The development of the design ideas from concept to final product
• Excellent presentation and clear communication of ideas

Deadlines

Entries must be submitted by 30/06/2012 and judging will take place in July/August 2012.
