Publications

As an educational resource, the spectrum of colour and textile-related publications available from the SDC is second to none.  On offer are print, electronic and web-based products as well as textbooks covering a full range of dyeing and finishing topics.

 

Our publications include:

Coloration Technology - the world's leading peer-reviewed journal dealing with the application of colour, and the only journal that covers all aspects of coloration technology (including chemistry, physics, technology, engineering and management).  Our flagship journal is published on our behalf by Wiley.  Members of SDC can benefit from free access to current review articles and discounted subscription rates. 

Books - our catalogue of over 25 textbooks reaches hundreds of students of colour science globally, and we have new editions planned for 2012. 

The Colourist - our quarterly magazine for members.

Our publications range from basic information about colour for a non-technical audience, through to specialist colour resources.
