SDC Membership Grades

SDC Membership

Corporate Membership

The Society's professional membership grade is officially termed 'corporate membership'. It is open to people aged 23 and over who, in addition to having received a good general and scientific education, have been trained in colour science or technology, or in other disciplines associated with the practice of coloration.

Corporate members are entitled to receive notice of and to attend and vote at general meetings of the Society. They are eligible for election to the Council of the Society. They will also receive notices of and may vote at regional general meetings and may serve on Region committees.

If you are interested in this please visit the application procedure page, download details of the current membership rates, view the list of membership benefits or contact us for further information.

Non-Corporate Membership

People who wish to develop interests in line with the Society's objectives but who do not have the necessary qualifications for corporate membership can join as 'non-corporate members'. Examples include people under the age of 23 and students. Membership rates are the same as for corporate membership.

Another option for achieving non-corporate membership status is by joining the Society's ColourClick online service with its own range of membership benefits.

Patron Supporter

The Patron Supporter scheme is open to any company or organisation involved in coloration anywhere in the world. Please go to our Patron Supporter page or contact us or further details.
