SDC Patron Supporter Scheme
The Society's Patron Supporter scheme, first introduced in 2001, is proving to be one of the most successful SDC innovations of recent times. With patrons in many countries, the scheme continues to evolve, with new benefits being added all the time.
What is it?
The Patron Supporter scheme makes it possible for any company or organisation involved in colour or coloration anywhere in the world to become involved in the Society's activities. By joining the scheme organisations are identifying themselves with the strategic aims and objectives of the Society - advancing the science and technology of colour. Not only will you be identified with the world's leading specialist in colour, you will also enjoy a substantial package of benefits.
In 2004 the scheme was expanded so that educational establishments such as colleges, institutes and universities could become Patron Supporters and benefit from the scheme; several have already done so.
Not only will you be identified with the world's leading specialist in colour, you will also enjoy a substantial package of exclusive benefits designed to give Patron Supporter organisations a competitive edge in the marketplace. Knowledge is power, and no-one is more knowledgeable about colour than the SDC. Through the Patron Supporter scheme this knowledge can now be yours.
Who can join?
Any organisation anywhere in the world wanting to become a 'partner in colour' with the Society and wanting to be identified and associated with an international centre of excellence in colour science and technology. There is an annual subscription, but no joining fee.
Why join?
The benefits of joining this scheme are many and varied and have one thing in common - they are real, practical benefits designed to contribute to the continued success of your business or organisation.
ColourClick, the Society's significant new online knowledge resource, was launched in 2004 and using ColourClick you can search quickly and easily for the latest news, best articles and information reports. As a consequence, the scheme benefits were updated so that Patron Supporters get five ColourClick accounts as part of the package.
You will be in good company when you become a Patron Supporter and the list of supporters, both companies and colleges, is ever-growing.
How much does it cost?
Patron Supporter subscriptions cost £350 per year for organisations and £400 for colleges and universities and run for 12 months from the first of the month that you join.
