SDC Patron Supporter Scheme

Benefits of being a Patron Supporter Company

The scheme is designed for organisations wanting to identify themselves with the aims and objectives of the Society - advancing colour knowledge, excellence and best practice. It also offers a unique range of benefits and access to the Society's unrivalled experience and expertise in colour.

1 - Use of the Patron Supporter Logo

You will be entitled to use the Patron Supporter logo on your stationery, website and advertising material to show that you support the role and work of the Society (subject to a proof copy of any intended usage being submitted for prior approval).

2 - Online Resource File

Your organisation will benefit from a premium listing on the Society's Online Resource File, our electronic information directory for the global coloration industry.

3 - ColourClick Membership

Up to five of your staff members will receive ColourClick membership of the Society, including access to ColourClick, the Society's unique online colour information service. It offers the latest news, articles and reports on colour.

4 - Patron Information Service

Basic one-off requests for information will be dealt with immediately, free of charge, as part of the service. Other enquiries requiring active desk or field research will be processed by quotation at a specially discounted rate.

5 - Society Books

Upon joining the scheme you will be entitled to choose two free books for your organisation's library from our Patron Supporter Book List.

6 - Society Journals

You will receive six free copies of the Society's quarterly membership magazine The Colourist. You will also be entitled to purchase the Society's peer-reviewed journal of coloration science and technology, Coloration Technology, at a special Patron Supporter discount.

7 - Free Publicity

As a member of the scheme you will be entitled to submit news and information about your organisation for inclusion in the Patron Supporter section of The Colourist. You will also be mentioned by name in the Society's Annual Review.

8 - Patron Display Board

Upon joining the scheme your organisation's name will be added to the Patron Supporter Display Board in Perkin House.

9 - Annual Supplement

The Society publishes an annual A5-size supplement containing information about all its Patron Supporters. This is distributed free to all individual members and patrons of the Society and its international network of contacts.

10 - Patron Supporter E-Newsletter

You will receive a regular electronic newsletter giving you details of developments at the Society and in the world of textiles and colour at large.

11 - Patron Speaker List

Patron Supporters are eligible to submit names of potential speakers from their organisation for consideration in respect of forthcoming Society events: lectures, seminars, conferences, regional meetings, etc.

12 - SDC Colour Conference and Exhibition

Delegates from Patron Supporter organisations enjoy the benefit of member rates at Society events.

13 - SDC Colour Experience

Staff from Patron organisations are entitled to visit the SDC Colour Experience free of charge. Special talks and tours can be arranged for groups.

14 - Patron Supporter Discount

This is available on Society books, journals, training courses, room hire for meetings at Perkin House and exhibition space at events.

15 - Voucher

Upon becoming a Patron Supporter of the Society, and in each year of membership, you will receive a voucher to the value of £50 redeemable against selected Society events, products and services.
